1. How much does it cost?

We know this is a frustrating answer, but we have to say “It depends”.  [here

2. How long does it take?

Usually the first session is a solid 2˝ hours.  Typically a career direction enquiry involves 5 to 6 hours plus homework and phone calls.  However,  there's a lot of variation depending on just what your situation is.  Feel free to call, without obligation, to discuss your situation with Frances [contact us]

3. How quickly can I see you?

We are usually able to see new clients within one to two weeks.  In emergencies special arrangements can be made.  Please just enquire.

4. Can I call you outside office hours?

Yes, we understand that often it is difficult to discuss career and work related issues from your place of work.  We take calls in the evenings and on Saturdays if necessary.  If calling during normal hours is difficult feel free to call up to 9:00 pm in the evening.

If you need to leave a voice-mail message just let us know your after hours number and we will contact you as soon as possible - within 24 hours

5. How do I know it will work?

We will discuss the results you want and what you can expect in detail with you before you do anything else.  Effective career change and development requires that you take a number of steps yourself.  We cannot "do it for you"  but we use our years of experience with thousands of others to guide, advise, coach, counsel, motivate and help.

6. What makes you different from other Career Consultants?

Many things!  It's our professionalism, our flexibility and breadth of experience.

And it's also our commitment to you identifying specific measurable results AND actually moving towards achieving them.

MOST IMPORTANTLY - In the area of professional services,  we know talk is easy -  and it is often helpful.  But we go beyond this. In the area of work and careers, clients want more than insights and information, they want results.  We understand this and are prepared to stand behind all that we do.

There are other good career professionals around - if you are doubtful ring around a few of them first, and then call us and make up your mind on who feels right for you.

If you are not sure print out the "AM I READY YET?" questions and then decide if it's worth it for you.

10. What services do you have for corporates

Yes, Saturday telephone conversations and consultation sessions can be arranged if necessary.

12. Can I work with you just by telephone alone or do I have to come and see you?

We can work by telephone alone.  If we can meet face-to-face at least for the first session that is much better and then we can carry on by telephone.  Results and experience show that face-to-face is best if possible.

13. Do you charge for phone calls?

No, not usually.  When calls are part of the process of working with you there is no extra charge for telephone work.

Calls are only charged when they are part of an agreed telephone coaching, training or consulting package.

22. What ages do you work with?

It is part of the operating philosophy of Forté™ that a person is never too young nor too old to be considering what best to work at, what direction to take next and to be thinking about how best to proceed in that direction.

If you are between the ages of 13 (considering high school courses?)  and 103 (considering your next career?), give us a call !  NOTE, if you are over 90 we waive all fees!
